LOSSNAY is a next-generation heat recovery ventilation system from Mitsubishi Electric. At its core lies the Lossnay heat exchanger, designed with a cross-flow paper heat exchange core featuring triangular airflow channels, enhancing the heat transfer coefficient between supply and exhaust air. Compared to thermal wheels commonly integrated into AHUs (or PAUs, etc.), Lossnay offers high independence, a compact installation footprint, and greater design flexibility. Notably, the cross-flow configuration of Lossnay provides superior heat exchange performance compared to the counter-flow design of conventional thermal wheels.
